The members of our staff have dedicated their lives
to promote the well being of others. Because we want
each guest to go home satisfied, we ask that these few,
but important, rules of Spa etiquette be observed:
Getting Ready: A hot shower can relax
you before your spa treatment and make it more enjoyable.
Please do not eat for at least an hour prior to your
appointment.
When Will I Arrive: We recommend that
you arrive 15 minutes before your appointed time to
allow introductions, consultation, and when necessary,
to complete your confidential health history form. When
arriving for the first time, make sure to allow for
time to find the exact location. Your time with us is
precious. Your treatments begin exactly at your appointment
time.
Cell Phones: Help make everyone’s
experience relaxing by turning off your cell phone,
and keeping your voice down. The Spa is an oasis of
peace and quiet while you enjoy your treatment undisturbed.
Be mindful of other guests’ space. While you are
certainly welcome to engage in quiet conversation, please
refrain from loud talking. Our lounge is a place where
many guests savor a much-needed private moment to read,
meditate or simply to relax.
What If I Am Late For My Appointment: We
schedule appointments according to our therapists' availability
and specialty. Arriving late will possibly interfere
with your treatment time so therefore the treatment
may not be as effective or therapeutic for you. All
appointments will end at their scheduled time so that
the next guest will not be delayed.
What If I Need To Cancel
Or Change My Appointment: We schedule appointments
according to our therapists' availability and specialty. Cancellations
of single services require a 24-hour notice, and cancellation
of packages require a 48-hour notice. Failure to cancel within
this time frame or earlier may result in a cancellation fee
of 50%. If you are using a gift certificate for this appointment,
the gift certificate may be voided. Your consideration and
understanding is greatly appreciated.
Health Problems and Comfort Level
Please notify a Spa receptionist before booking treatments
if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure,
any physical ailments, or disabilities. This will prepare
our staff far in advance to provide the best possible Spa
treatment or therapy for you. When receiving your treatment
the technician will address your needs based on your personal
assessment. They will speak to you about the temperature,
pressure, music, product, and sequence of service they are
providing. You may also communicate to us how you are feeling
during your service, if there is anything you would like us
to address please inform the technician.
Packages and Specials: All services for
day packages must be experienced in the same visit and there
are no substitutions. When making an appointment for a day
package or multiple services, a credit card or a gift certificate
is required. Specials can not be combined with any other discounts.
What to Wear During a Treatment
Moonlight Spa & Retreat does not require any dress code,
it is a clothing optional environment. It is recommended during
a Body Treatment or Massage that those treatments are enjoyed
without clothing although undergarments may be worn if preferred.
Professional draping is performed throughout the duration
of the service for privacy. We do, however ask that you bring
your bathing suit for any of the water treatment services.
There's no pressure to talk during a treatment. It's entirely
up to you. If you have questions or would like to talk during
the session, certainly do so. The staff takes their cues from
you. If you're quiet, they will be too.
After your treatment, we'll allow you a few minutes to enjoy
the moment, stretch, take a few deep breaths and stabilize
before getting up from the table. If you are transitioning
to another treatment a member of staff will collect you and
direct you to the next session.
Payment: All payments are due at time of
service. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and Moonlight
Spa & Retreat gift certificates. There is a $35 return
check fee.
Gratuities: You will
be pampered by Licensed Massage Therapists and Certified Aestheticians
who take pride in their work. Please show your appreciation
for their wonderful service with a gratuity. 18%-20% is customary.
The services on this website do not have gratuity included
in the price.
Children: In order to maintain a relaxed
setting, we ask that you refrain from bringing children with
you for your treatments.
Jewelry: We are not responsible for lost
or stolen articles. Please leave valuables at home.
Smoking: We are a smoke-free environment.
